Freemasons and Rosicrucians - the Enlightened
by Manly P. Hall

The Radical Enlightenment: Pantheists, Freemasons and Republicans
by Margaret C. Jacob
Softcover $24.95
ISBN 1-887560-74-2
When first published in 1981, The Radical Enlightenment encountered both praise and blame. In the course of time it became a classic. In the era after 1945 the book was perhaps the first English language scholarly work to address freemasonry seriously.
The new edition attempts to modernize the footnotes, removes a few errors in transcription found in quotations used in the first edition, and not least, offers a new preface. The thesis presented in The Radical Enlightenment has withstood the test of time and in the last twenty years been augmented and made more distinct by a variety of historians working on both sides of the Atlantic.
The author, Margaret C. Jacob, is a distinguished professor of history at UCLA and in 2002 received an honorary doctorate from the University of Utrecht for the work she has done on the Dutch Enlightenment. | | Price: £12.75

God's Soldiers: Roman Catholicism and Freemasonry
by Dudley Wright
Softcover $14.95
ISBN 1-887560-71-8
A controversial look at the Roman Catholic Church.
The only force powerful enough to destroy the Knights Templar was the Roman Catholic Church. Alarmed by the persistent reports that Freemasonry was the rebirth of the Templars, the Church took deadly aim at this seemingly innocent and moral organization.
This is the classic story of the Church's history of attacks and persecution of Freemasonry as told by noted Masonic scholar Dudley Wright. It is a story that must be read. This 2006 revised edition was originally published in 1921.

| Words From a Masonic Mystic |
A.E. Waite: Words From a Masonic Mystic
Edited by Michael R. Poll
Foreword by Joseph Fort Newton
Softcover $16.95
ISBN 1-887560-73-4
Few individuals exerted more influence in "esoteric Masonry" than did A.E. Waite. His hunger for the "hidden wisdom" of Masonry, as well as life, drove him to his studies of all matters esoteric.
Respected as a scholar, magician and Mason of quality, his words drew praise from many, yet were controversial enough to draw a fair amount of criticism ... likely to Waite's delight. This collection of Masonic papers from A.E. Waite represents some of the finest thoughts on the "deeper aspects" of Masonry. Includes: "Discourse on the Fellowcraft Degree;" "Emblematic Freemasonry, Building Guilds and Hermetic Schools;" "Pillars of the Temple;" "The French Mystic and the Story of Modern Martinism;" "The Templars Orders in Freemasonry;" "Some Deeper Aspects of Masonic Symbolism" and more. | | Price: £8.75
